I got a back around my last post and the only thing that stopped me really is a lack of time. GiFTPiA (ギフトピア) is a unique RPG described as a "Communication Adventure", the game does not involve battles, dungeons, and monsters like a traditional RPG, but instead has the player take control of a young boy named Pockle as he completes various chores for the inhabitants of Nanashi Island. I can follow along with the game easier when the translation contains both languages. You're the most recent person that I can find who is working on a GiFTPiA translation patch.
Thanks and keep up the good work! I recently became aware of the obscure Japanese exclusive Gamecube game Giftpia and was wondering if anyone knows of an ISO of it with the English translation. I tried to find one but all I could find were old forum posts from the early 2010s where people said they would do it then months later would abandon the project.
Sadly, it's Japenese only, with no proper English patch in site. Please update as appropriate.

There is a LOT more dumping that needs to happen involving those pesky .EVT files, which I plan on making my next post about… Unfortunately, work and other projects have pushed this to the back burner, but I plan on returning to this at least a little bit this week.If I manage to get a proper dump going I will definitely make a spreadsheet that contains the dialog text in both English and Japanese, but that requires quite a bit more legwork to get done.The short answer is I hope so!
